FAYETTEVILLE, Ga.–Fayetteville police Wednesday warned that an identity thief has made purchases with other people’s money in several area jurisdictions.
Police say the thief has used stolen identities in Fayetteville, Mableton, Austell, Smyrna, Kennesaw, Atlanta and Henry County since December. He most commonly shops at Target and Publix stores.
In fact, police released surveillance photos Thursday of him leaving a Target store after he had made purchases with a stolen identity.
